The 26.5 mm Flare gun has more power than a 12 gauge gun. The 12 gauge flare is designed to go to a height of 300 feet, while the 26.5 flare is designed to reach 1000 feet.
This gun is designed to military specs for durability and reliability. The body is a u.v. resistant carbon fiber composite while the barrel is stainless steel. This combination is perfect to keep aboard a boat exposed to damp salt air. It will never rust and the barrel will last over 2000 shots.
This Flare Gun (sometimes called a Launcher) can also be used as a firework launcher (see below) or as an emergency less lethal self defence.
The 26.5 mm Launcher is not classified as a firearm and no documents are needed to purchase, but you must be at least 21 years of age.
